Dozens of patients had to be relocated from a wing inside White Plains Hospital after a sprinkler malfunction caused flooding there earlier this morning. The issue happened on the sixth floor of the F wing, which is for labor and delivery. It happened around 7:30 a.m. A hospital spokesperson says the staff worked together immediately to move patients to unaffected areas and that everyone is safe. Hospital officials say they are assessing the impacted areas so that they can return patients back to that wing as soon as possible. There are some lingering delays regarding certain procedures and surgeries at the hospital. Fire investigators said that a pipe burst during an annual test of the sprinkler system. "
