NYPD: Bicyclist wanted for robbery, assault of man in Williamsburg

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who assaulted and robbed a man on Aug. 18 in Williamsburg. Authorities say the suspect was riding a bike when he pulled up to the 26-year-old victim on Metropolitan and Manhattan avenues at around 10:30 a.m. The suspect then struck the victim, knocked him unconscious and left the scene with his wallet. Police say the man was hospitalized for injuries to his face. Anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-577-TIPS. "
