Hampton Classic Horse Show kicks off in Bridgehampton

Thousands of horse fans and equestrians attended the first day of the Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton on Sunday. It's one of most prestigious events on Long Island. "We have the best riders in the world," said organizer Marty Bauman. The opening ceremony kicked off the start of the 49th annual horse jumping competition. More than 200 competitions will take place during the week followed by Sunday's Grand Prix on Sep. 1. More than $1 million in prize money is up for grabs.
