The former assistant general foreman of the Town of Cortlandt, Robert Dyckman, and local business owner Glenn Griffin of Griffin's Landscaping, have pleaded guilty to public corruption charges, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. Dyckman admitted to accepting bribes from Griffin to allow him to dump harmful materials at the Arlo Lane facility, and Griffin was then paid to haul away the same materials he had dumped. As part of their plea agreement, Dyckman and Griffin must pay over $2 million in restitution to the Town of Cortlandt and the Westchester Land Trust. "
