    Police: Officer bitten, spit on while making arrest in Roosevelt

    An officer was assaulted Wednesday in Roosevelt, police say. It happened at around 1 p.m. when detectives say Joshua Williams was drunk and breaking things inside a woman's home. When officers attempted to arrest Williams, detectives say he bit an officer and spit in his face. The officer was taken to the hospital. "
