NYPD: Woman found dead inside Brownsville apartment

NYPD officers performing a wellness check Saturday morning at an apartment in Brownsville found a woman unconscious and unresponsive inside, police say. She was pronounced dead at the scene inside the building at 113 Thatford Ave. Police sources say she was found lying face down in her own blood.
