Ridgefield man faces competency hearing in father's slaying

Steven Uricchio, 31, allegedly called police to report the incident and confessed while in custody. He has a history of mental health issues. An evaluation was done prior with mental health professionals, a report was generated, and there’s now a hearing on the report and the person who evaluated him will likely be called to testify.
