Unauthorized juvenile prompts temporary lockdown at Bloomfield High School

Bloomfield High School was placed on lockdown Wednesday after an unauthorized juvenile was seen "in the vicinity of the school," according to police. Bloomfield police say they were notified of the incident by the high school staff. The school was subsequently placed on lockdown while officers searched the building. "It has been determined that the unauthorized individual has left the area of the high school. All appropriate measures were taken to ensure the safety of the students. There are no reported injuries. Everyone is safe," Bloomfield police said in a statement. "
