A Rhode Island man has died following an accident on Route 25 south in Trumbull Friday. State police say they received a call for a motor vehicle collision with injuries near Exit 9 at 11 p.m. An investigation found that BMW X1 was driving south in an unknown lane when a BMW X5 approached it. Police say the X5 maneuvered to the right and sideswiped the passenger side rear of the X1. The X5 spun out of control, entered the median and rolled over, striking multiple trees. Timothy Campbell, who was a back seat passenger in the X5, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of that vehicle and two other passengers were transported to local hospitals for non life-threatening injuries. Route 25 was closed for several hours during the investigation, but has since reopened. Anyone with information or anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Troop G at (203) 696-2500. "

And as always, it's a passenger that lost their life. The a-hole driver will likely recover.

RI and MA people always speed through parts of CT furthest from their homes, thinking that it will make us think that they know the roads when we know they dont. A Masshole almost ran into the other day on Westchester ave in Harrison when i had the green light and he was coming out the post office hub. since he has a fast car, he decided that he wanted to race me when i had the light. he is lucky that i pulled to the left lane and that no one was over there, or his nice, black BMW (yep!) would have been smashed, and it would have been all on him.
