NOW: Another pleasant one across the region. Temperatures will be on the warmer side in the upper-70s and lower-80s with some sunshine. Tonight, we see lows drop off into the 50s and 60s with clouds moving in, unfortunately not giving us the best view of this month’s full moon and partial lunar eclipse. NEW & NEXT: Right now, there is a storm well south of us and off the coast of the Carolinas. This is slowly drifting onshore and will weaken. Then, a secondary low will try to develop offshore, and this one will head northeast. It will run into this large dome of high pressure through the week. This will try to suppress some of the moisture, but it looks like some of that may just make far enough north, for western Connecticut to see some rain. At this point, it doesn't look like much. Eastern sections of the state and the eastern end of Long Island have the best chance of seeing more rain and even some wind. Winds will be coming onshore the entire time, so clouds will fill in and there is a risk of some minor coastal flooding during high tide by late Wednesday or Thursday.
