Person critically injured in Bridgeport shooting

A person was hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting in downtown Bridgeport Wednesday night. The incident occurred at the intersection of Bank and Main streets. Police responded to reports of gunfire and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. "

everyday. a disaster in Bridgeport..person or persons carted off to hospital costing the city???? old west mentality..bring back the old west stockades..people in Bridgeport deserve a safe quiet town...not one that makes national news..
