WHAT'S NOW: Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit says cool air is sticking around through the rest of the week but will stay dry. Highs today will be in the 60s. The first frost is on the way during the overnight.
WHAT'S NEXT: Heavy rainfall from Hurricane Milton will continue to impact portions of Florida through the end of the week. Milton is expected to make landfall by Thursday morning. Heavy rainfall will bring the risk of considerable flash, urban and areal flooding. There's a potential for moderate to major river flooding. There is an increasing risk of life-threatening storm surge and damaging winds for portions of the west coast of the Florida Peninsula beginning Tuesday night or early Wednesday. Remnants are not expected to hit Connecticut. https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2NbafN_0vxoal1y00
