NOW & NEXT: It will be chilly for the next few days and nights. Highs will be in the 60s with Thursday and Friday being the coolest. There will be a slight warm up again over the weekend, where some lower 70s will make an appearance again. The weather stays dry until early Monday. That's the best chance of seeing some rain. In the meantime, a few weak disturbances will try to pass through the Northeast, but the rain looks unsuccessful here. There will be some clouds at times the next few days, but rain will be hard to come by. TRACKING MILTON: Hurricane Milton in the Gulf gained strength and became a Category 5 storm again. Milton will not impact Connecticut and will only hit Florida due to the large dome of high pressure suppressing the storm track south. The storm is currently moving ENE and this path will bring the storm across Central Florida starting Wednesday night. NIGHT SKY: There is the possibility that we will be able to see a comet in our evening skies by the end of the week and next weekend. Comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas is now swinging by the Sun. The comet will emerge from behind the Sun by Thursday and make its closest pass to Earth on Oct. 12.
