At first I was upset about this like 3 months ago as a city worker I ended up in a homeless shelter and now I understand why they don’t want it in there neighborhood I’m living what they scared of there’s a lot of people in there that use drugs and get no kind of help to help them with there problem and these are the kind of people that are getting close to a $3000 voucher as for me as a city worker cause I’m over $300 I can’t get any kind of government assistance I’m basically pushed to the side t I was told I qualify for SOTA where I can only find something that only 40% on my salary that comes out to $1400 where in nyc can I find an apartment for that price I wrote to the mayors office and no answer

ask all those Asians how they would have felt if it was them people protest when they took over most of Brooklyn what would you have to say if it was a shelter for homeless veterans or American citizens
