BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Legislator Howard Johnson has resigned today after over five years of serving Erie County.

His resignation is effective as of 11:59 p.m. Friday night.

In a statement, Johnson said he was grateful to be able to serve the public and was proud of his accomplishments while in office. HoJo to the BOE is a prime example of an incapable person moving to another position of useless contributions. It's all about recycling the trash. Once the establishment is thrown out things will change. Participate in local govt everyone 🇺🇸
