Wegmans ultra-pasteurized half & half recalled due to possible improper testing

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Wegmans has issued a recall on its ultra-pasteurized half & half products due to possible improper testing.

Customers who purchased ‘Wegmans FYFGA Ultra Pasteurized Half & Half 16 FO” with the UPC 7789048671, a best-by-date of Oct. 10, 2024 and a plant code of 36-1287 are asked to return the product.

According to Wegmans, the raw milk that was used to make the product may not have been tested correctly for antibiotic residue.

All customers who return the product will be given a full refund.
