ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Right tackle Spencer Brown has signed a four-year contract extension with the Bills, the team announced Friday afternoon. Salary details were not immediately disclosed.

Buffalo’s third-round draft pick in 2021 has started 41 regular season games and all six playoff contests in his first three seasons. After dealing with knee, back and ankle injuries earlier in his career, Brown started all 17 games last season on an offensive line that led the league in allowing just 24 sacks. The 26-year-old missed part of the offseason program following shoulder surgery, but has been healthy throughout training camp and preseason.

Brown is the first player from Buffalo’s 2021 draft class to sign a second NFL contract. The other players remaining on the Bills roster from that draft are defensive end Greg Rousseau, the team’s first-round pick, and safety Damar Hamlin, who was a sixth-round selection. Hamlin and cornerback Rasul Douglas are now the only starters on offense or defense who are not under contract for the 2025 season.

The Bills open the season Sunday at home against the Arizona Cardinals.
