BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Town of Tonawanda Police say a Buffalo man is currently wanted and possibly armed following a Monday afternoon shooting.

Police say 42-year-old Joel Brown shot a 36-year-old male victim in the leg and hand on Kenmore Avenue. The public should not approach him.

Around 4:10 p.m. Monday, police say they responded to Militello Family Auto on 311 Kenmore Avenue for a report of shots fired. According to police, Brown and the victim know each other and the shooting is believed to stem from an ongoing dispute between them.

If you have any information, call Tonawanda police at 716-879-6614 or the confidential tip line at 716-879-6606.

Sounds like Tonawanda is close to becoming another East Side of Buffalo.
