3 homes, 2 garages, vehicle damaged in fire in Amherst

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Three homes, two garages and a vehicle suffered damage in a fire in Amherst early Wednesday morning, according to fire officials.

Crews responded to 210 Windermere Blvd. around 2:05 a.m., Wednesday, where a vehicle had caught fire and had spread to the home and garage.

The fire had also extended to two other single family homes, 216 Windermere and 243 Capen Blvd., as well as the garage of one of the homes.

Damages were estimated at a total of $230,000. There were no injuries. A cause for the fire was not provided.
