BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown man is dead following a crash that occurred in North Tonawanda Monday morning, the North Tonawanda Police Department announced.

Terry Crick, 58, was struck while riding his E-Bike and later succumbed to his injuries.

Around 11:25 a.m. Monday, North Tonawanda police responded to a call for a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist in the area of Twin City Memorial Highway and Tremont Street.

An initial investigation revealed that the driver of the E-bike was traveling eastbound on Tremont Street while a 2014 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound. Crick allegedly failed to yield the right of way and was struck by the Ford.

Crick was transported to ECMC for life threatening injuries. He died on Tuesday.

The driver of the Ford is cooperating with the investigation and is not facing any charges. The investigation is ongoing.
