    11-year-old hospitalized after being shot in Olean

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An 11-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot while playing outside on Seneca Avenue in Olean, according to City of Olean police.

    Police responded to the 1300 block of Seneca Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday evening, where the child had been shot in the leg. Olean City Fire responded and took the child to the hospital.

    The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information regarding the owner of the truck in the video above is asked to contact the criminal investigation unit at 716-376-5673.
