Police chase out of Garfield Hts. ends in crash in Cleveland

A chase ended in a crash on Cleveland's east side.

Garfield Heights police were chasing a vehicle after 1 a.m. on Thursday.

The chase ended with a crash on East 93rd Street and Broadway Avenue.

News 5's overnight news tracker saw one person transported to the hospital in handcuffs.

Officers also found a gun at the scene.

The Cleveland Community Police Commission is seeking public input regarding police vehicle pursuit policies in the city, which could include suburbs that chase vehicles into Cleveland.

The city of Cleveland should be able to get a grant for trackers that on the front of the police car that shoots a GPS, Tracker I seen it on a police car they are a dealer that goes around to all the police department, showing them the newest cars in hopes that they use their grant money the city only pays a portion of what the car is worth after grant money chasing would be a thing in the pass and it’s hard to get off of the car that it shoots. It was pretty neat. they even put the logos on them. they are ready to rock and roll. The one I seen was like a night Rider car
