11-year-old boy in critical condition after being struck by a car in Cleveland

An 11-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Cleveland Friday evening, according to Emergency Medical Services.

EMS responded to the area of East 110 Street and Superior Avenue for a struck pedestrian, EMS said.

Authorities say the boy was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

It is unknown how the incident happened.
