ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Dundee/Bradford wrestler Peyton Mullin made history on Saturday, winning the 235-pound bracket at the NYSPHSAA Girls Wrestling Invitational. With the win, she became the first-ever individual state champion from Dundee.

Mullin pinned her way to the title, the freshman completing an underdog to the championship as the 9th seed. Her accomplishment leads this week’s Section V Best.

Other top performers from Penfield, York, Victor, and Greece join her on this week’s list.
