ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Stay up to date on the latest headlines in today’s Sunrise Smart Start for Monday, April 1, 2024.

Weather Forecast: Quiet to start the week before potential April snows later this week

As clouds build overnight we shouldn’t drop too far temperature wise. Most should remain above freezing into Monday morning with lows settling into the mid-30s.

Monday will be much of the same we saw the day before. Clouds to start off the morning and will continue to decrease throughout the day. Temperatures will rise back up into the low 50s. Monday could be our last day to see the sun for the next few days. A complex storm will move into the area Tuesday morning, bringing us rain. The rain will continue on and off throughout the day with temperatures getting into the mid to upper 40s. Rain will stick around through Wednesday morning along with gusty winds of 30-40 mph as our low pressure deepens.
