ROCHESTER. N.Y. (WROC) — The owner of the Cartwright’s Maple Tree Inn sat down for an interview with CBS Mornings on Friday.

Located in Angelica NY, the inn will be featured on the show’s “The Dish” series, where Nancy Chen will be visiting the restaurant to feature its all-you-can-eat buckwheat pancakes.

The restaurant has been best known for those pancakes and their homemade maple syrup, which has been produced since the 1850s. The restaurant is only open two months of the year, closing April 7. You can learn more about the iconic business in this edition of Kucko’s Camera.

CBS Mornings recently came to the region to interview Mayor Malik Evans and RMSC about plans for the Total Solar Eclipse. The full interview can be found here.

CBS Mornings airs from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. every weekday on News 8 WROC. You can watch their full interview in the video player at the top of this page.

Their buckwheat pancakes are amazing! I've never had pancakes this good! This is a quality run business. From the syrup, pancakes and service. I love it!
