Dyaisha Fair heading to Brooklyn for WNBA Draft

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse guard Dyaisha Fair will be attending the WNBA draft in Brooklyn, becoming the first SU player to be invited and attend the draft in program history.

The WNBA Draft will be held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Monday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. It will be shown on ESPN.

Fair, a Rochester native, is projected as high as the ninth overall pick in some mock drafts. She leaves SU as the third leading overall scorer in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history with 3,403 career points.
