News 8 Primetime 585 Elite Awards: Girls Nordic

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Here is the Elite award for girls Nordic skiing.

Our winner led her squad to the only team state title of the Section Five winter season.

She had a clean sweep at sectionals, finishing first in the individual championships, and anchored her relay team to a sectional title.

At states she took second individually with more than 30 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher.

In the state relay championship, she had the fastest leg of her teammates, and anchored her team to victory using every drop of gas in the tank to win the state title by just four seconds.

Our elite award winner for girls Nordic skiing goes to Gabrielle Spyra from Pittsford Sutherland.
