ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A section of Court Street in Rochester was blocked off Monday as crews work to address a water main break in the area.

According to the City of Rochester, a high pressure water main broke along Court Street near the intersection of South Clinton Avenue. The main was shut down and cordoned off with cones, but the road remains open to traffic.

Excavation and repairs are scheduled to begin Tuesday morning. The city said water service to homes and businesses would not be impacted, though the Lyell Branch Library will open at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday rather than the usual 11:00 a.m. due to the repairs.
