‘Big Bounce America’ to take over Hilton sports park at end of May

HILTON, N.Y. (WROC) — In just a few weeks, a portion of Grace and Trust Sports Park in Hilton, will house the nationwide ‘Big Bounce America’ for one weekend only.

From May 31 to June 2, Big Bounce America, home of the “The World’s Largest Bounce House,” which covers 24,000 square feet with eight inflatables, will take over the sports park.

Park Director Tom Street says he was a little unsure whether to accept when he got the call to put this on but is excited to watch it come to life.

“We’re all about reaching people with the gospel, and displaying the love of God through sports, and I was like ‘Well, this doesn’t really fit,’ but then I thought, ‘Actually, we’re also called to love our neighbors, and if we have a space where people want to come and have fun on a bounce house, why not do that?”

And all Street and his team need to provide, mostly just the space. Big Bounce America will come in and set up its own equipment. The rest of the logistics, however, are all in plan.

“The biggest thing is that we are praying it doesn’t rain,” Street said. “[We have to] make sure we have adequate parking, and we have a second exit we have developed to help with traffic flow.”

And while guests are enjoying their reserved slot:

“The park will also be going on. There will be soccer games, baseball games, all types of sporting events, all in one big location.”

Ticket packages range for all ages:

• The Toddler Session starts at $22 (ages 3 and younger plus parents/carers)
• Junior Session from $35 (ages 7 and younger plus parents/carers)
• Bigger Kids Session from $35 (ages 15 and younger plus parents/carers)
• Adult Only Session from $45 (ages 16 and older)
