    Schroeder girls lacrosse defends home turf on Senior Night

    WEBSTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Schroeder led wire-to-wire to defend home turf and defeat the Greece Storm 17-8.

    The Warriors set the tone early after taking a 5-1 lead into the second quarter. However, Greece battled back in the next 12 minutes of play to make it a 7-5 game into halftime. From there, Schroeder took off in the second half leaving to secure their second consecutive win.

    Kylee Race led Schroeder with four goals while Makenna Baier and Molly Meyer both finished with three goals and an assist. Lola Wambach ended up with two goals.

    For Greece, Mara Misiurewicz had a team-high four goals. Emma Dioguardi ended with two scores.

    Schroeder (7-5) will travel to Irondequoit on Wednesday, May 8th. Greece Storm (7-4) will look to bounce back at home against Aquinas the same evening.
