ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) —Verizon Wireless customers in Wayne and Seneca Counties reported having trouble with calls and texts on Thursday. Officials said this could have an impact on 911 calls.

The Office of Emergency Management 911 Public Safety Communications at Seneca County advised any Verizon customers having 911 issues to try hanging up and re-dialing. They also recommend texting 911 as an option, and connecting to Wi-Fi or using a landline if possible.

The county said Verizon Wireless was working on solving this issue around 3:00 p.m.

I’m a Door Dasher and I was forced to end my deliveries because I had no service. I’m very upset about this!
