    WATCH: 2024 Rochester Lilac Festival Parade

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — It’s day two of the 2024 Rochester Lilac Festival and the fun gets started with one of the traditional highlights — the parade.

    You can watch all the festivities starting at 10:30 a.m. on RochesterFirst.com.

    Road Closures and parade route

    But first, some business. Staging for the parade starts at 8 a.m. along Science Parkway and side streets off South Avenue from Science Parkway through Elmwood Avenue. Roads between Elmwood Avenue and E. Henrietta Road including Booth, Warren and Rosemount Streets, along with Fort Terrace, will be closed to traffic at 9:15 a.m.

    The parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of South Avenue and Science Parkway and head northbound on South to Highland Avenue. Then east on Highland to S. Goodman Street.

    Music lineup

    Saturday has a full day of music starting at noon:

    • Noon — Girls Rock! Rochester
    • 2:30 p.m. — Sage Bava
    • 4:00 p.m. — Aaron Rizzo Band
    • 5:30 p.m. — Zahyia
    • 7:00 p.m. — Butcher Brown

    The weekend also means the festival will feature Art in the Park , just head up the hill from the main festival site to Reservoir Ave.
