Class AA Pre-Quarterfinals

Two at-bats in the third inning helped propel the Warriors to victory Saturday afternoon.

Aiden Julian broke a scoreless tie with a 2-run RBI triple to right center. The very next at-bat, Jack Kelly ripped an RBI double down the third base line to round out the scoring for Schroeder. Trevor Hofer scored the lone run for Penfield off an RBI double.

Schroeder moves on to the quarterfinals where they will face (10) Irondequoit on Tuesday, May 21st.

Penfield ended their season with a 5-16 record.

Softball

Class AA Pre-Quarterfinals

(3) Thomas 15, (14) Irondequoit 1

The Titans’ offense was explosive yet again as they recorded their 11th game with double-digit runs. Thomas took down Irondequoit for the third time this year to sweep the season series.

Thomas advances to the Class AA quarterfinals where they will take on the winner of (6) Spencerport and (11) Brighton.
