ROC the Block Community Employment Fairs returning to Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – ROC the Bloc –– a neighborhood-based hiring initiative is coming back in Rochester for its fourth annual summer event.

This community employment fair brings businesses and recruiters to each of Rochester’s four quadrants throughout the summer.

The local ‘fun block party event’ allows Rochester employers and residents to meet and discover employment and wrap-around resource opportunities.

Almost 80 employers and agencies have already committed to presenting at these fairs, including ACM Global Laboratories, Rochester Regional Health and Walmart.

ROC the Block Employment Fairs will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following Wednesdays:

• June 12, Maplewood Rose Garden at 250 Maplewood Avenue
• July 10, Franklin High School at 950 Norton Street
• August 14, Aberdeen Square Park at 373 Aberdeen Street
• September 5, Parcel 5, 285 East Main Street
