    RESULTS: Local school district budget votes for 2024-25

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Voters throughout our region headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots for their school districts’ 2024-25 budgets.

    Voters weighed in on school budgets, propositions, board members, and more.

    The Rush-Henrietta Central School District failed to pass its budget, with the tally falling short by 15 votes. Churchville-Chili also saw a zero-emission bus proposition fail.

The other two possibilities would require a second vote that would take place during the third week of June. Those additional options would involve presenting either the same proposal for voter approval or an adjusted proposal for voter approval. The Board of Education will consider these options soon and we will keep you informed of its decision.
