Honeoye Falls-Lima baseball shuts out East to reach sectional finals

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Jake Weber pitched a complete game shutout with ten strikeouts as Honeoye Falls-Lima took down East High on Wednesday evening.

The Cougars scored three in the third inning, highlighted by a Landon Hammond RBI single.

Conor Finn had 2 RBIs, going 2 for 4 with two doubles. Jack Farabell went 3 for 3 and also stole two bases.

HF-L (13-9) will defend their sectional title against Sutherland on Friday. The Cougars beat the Knights in the championship game last year 11-2.

The loss was East’s first of the season. They end their season with a 21-1 record.
