Stunning comeback tops this week’s Section V Best

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Fairport girls lacrosse trailed by five goals at the half against Rush-Henrietta in the Class A semifinals. But the defending state champs did not go down quietly.

Ella Peers scored four goals, including the game-winner, as the Red Raiders shocked the Royal Comets to advance to the title game.

Her clutch performance, along with standouts from Penfield, McQuaid, Honeoye Falls-Lima, and Pal-Mac comprise this week’s Section V Best.
