Newark motorcyclist hospitalized after hitting deer

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in the town of Palmyra on Cambier Road.

Deputies say the operator, 60-year-old David Hotel Jr. of Newark, struck a deer and then he was ejected from the motorcycle. Mercy Flight took Hotel to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Deputies were assisted on scene by East Palmyra Fire Department, Finger Lakes Ambulance, Mercy Flight Central 1 and Seasonall Towing.
