Goodwill holds Thrift Crawl in Rochester area

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Goodwill held its third annual Thrift Crawl Tuesday.

Shoppers could choose between two different routes on the Thrift Mobile Bus that made stops at Goodwill stores across the area.

The Goodwill team provided styling and thrifting tips as well as a special 20 percent off in-store discount, snacks and chances to win prizes throughout the evening.

“It’s a brain child of one of our team members a few years ago as a way to build excitement and just get more people thrifting, especially as its becoming more of the craze people are excited about it,” Goodwill VP of Retail Operations Dave Wiesner said.

National Thrift Shop day is coming up on August 17.
