Woman inside Arnett Blvd. home hit by bullet from outside

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Police are investigating after a woman was shot inside of her home on Arnett Boulevard.

Officers arrived in the area before 10:15 p.m. for reports of gunshots and a person shot. Investigators said the 63-year-old victim was sitting in her home when she was shot by a round that went through her window.

The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other victims.

Police have shut down the area of Arnett Blvd. as they continue to investigate the circumstances behind the shooting. No suspects have been found.
