Man dies after being thrown from car following Lyons crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man from Williamson is dead after being ejected from his car in Lyons following a crash Wednesday morning, troopers said.

According to New York State Police, Brandon Hunter, 26, was driving down Maple Street in Lyons just after 9 a.m. when he left the road and crashed into an embankment, causing the car to roll over multiple times. Troopers said he was then thrown from the car.

Hunter was airlifted to the hospital where he later died.

The investigation remains open.
