    JCC takes donations in aftermath of Steuben County flooding, high school severely damaged

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The Jewish Community Center in Rochester is stepping up and taking donations in support of the Jasper-Troupsburg high school that recently took heavy damage from flooding.

    Tropical Storm Debby swept over parts of Steuben and Tioga County earlier this month causing mass amounts of flooding and storm damage throughout the area.

    This is the second flood in three years for the high school. The future of the school now remains uncertain , as crews continue to clear mud and pump out water.

    The JCC will be taking donations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. inside the center’s auditorium on Edgewood Avenue.
