RPD: Driver arrested after hitting man with SUV on Lake Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman was arrested Wednesday after police said she ran into a man on purpose due to an argument over money.

According to investigators, Brenda Bingham, 61, hit the 48-year-old man with her SUV on Lake Avenue near Maplewood Park just after 3:30 p.m. The victim told police he had severe pain in his upper body and neck.

Bingham was arrested and charged with assault. She was taken to the Monroe County Jail.
