2 people hospitalized after crash involving motorcycle in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC)— Two people were hospitalized Sunday evening after a crash in Rochester involving a motorcycle.

Around 7 p.m., the driver of a Toyota slowed down to make a left turn off Lake Avenue near Flower City Park, that’s when police said the motorcyclist slammed into them from behind.

The driver and passenger of the Toyota were not hurt. The motorcyclist, described as a man in his 40s, along with his passenger, a woman in her 60s, were both taken to the hospital. The pair are expected to survive their injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
