Rochester Boys and Girls Clubs holds backpack giveaway

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Boys and Girls Clubs of Rochester helped local students get everything they need ahead of the new school year Tuesday, with a backpack giveaway.

The Boys and Girls Clubs partnered with Doctor Bettina Love — a professor, New York Times bestselling author, and Edison Tech Graduate — for the event.

She met with students and handed out backpacks full of school supplies, for a project she said really hit home.
