ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Police arrested a man in Batavia for allegedly shooting a parking car on the street.

The New York State Police responded to the Babcock Mobile Home Park on Clinton Street Road Wednesday night and found an unoccupied Ford Explorer parked on the street shot in the windshield several times.

After determining where the gunshots came from, troopers arrested 48-year-old Robert Talbot in a nearby home. Troopers said he is a convicted felon. A search of the home uncovered a rifle and a shotgun.

Talbot was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was taken to the Genesee County CAP Court for arraignment.
