Wings Over Batavia Air Show happening this weekend

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Members of the F-16 Viper Demonstration Team are back in town for the Wings Over Batavia Air Show.

This the second time the team has come to New York State. They’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of the F-16 plane.

Team members decorated their modern F-16 plane to replicate how the original test plane looked in 1974.

At the air show the team will demonstrate about 15 minutes of combat air power, including tight turns and high-speed passes.

The Wings Over Batavia Air Show will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Batavia Airport. Gates open at 2:00 p.m. with flights from 5:00 p.m. until twilight, ending with a drone show at 9:00 p.m. both nights.
