Now closed: The Pizza Stop in Pittsford Plaza

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WROC) — The Pittsford location of The Pizza Stop is now closed.

A paper plate sign reading “CLOSED” can be seen on the door. The Rochester location confirmed the store’s closure.

The plaza location opened as the local favorite’s third in 2019. In 2023, the owner of the Rochester location wrote on Facebook that he was looking to sell and was looking for new ownership.

A real estate listing that appears to be connected with the location states that “owners’ health has caused him to retire,” and that “the current owner will do everything necessary to ensure a smooth transition of ownership.”

There are currently locations in Rochester, Greece and Pultneyville.
