ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Multiple deputies and a suspect were injured Thursday evening after a stolen car chase through Rochester.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were amid a multi-agency stolen vehicle detail when they came across a stolen Kia Sorento driving recklessly in the area of Lyell Avenue and Sherman Street. When attempting to stop the driver, deputies said they sped off, hitting two police cars along the way. A chase ensued around 6 p.m.

The Kia crashed on I-390 North around Lexington Avenue. Two people in the car were arrested. The driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Multiple deputies were also treated at the scene for what were described as minor injuries.

Friday, deputies identified the driver as Shaundale Williams, 40, of Rochester. He was charged with reckless endangerment in the first degree and taken to jail without bail as a predicate felon. Deputies said Williams had multiple arrest warrants for burglary, harassment, petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. His passenger, who deputies identified as Jasen McFarland, 53, was turned over to the Greece Police Department for three outstanding arrest warrants regarding petit larceny.

As a result of Thursday’s stolen vehicle detail, deputies confirmed six stolen vehicles were recovered in separate incidents, four felony arrests were made and ten warrants were served.

everyone blames race yet what I wonder is what were the race of people who enacted bail reform and this soft approach to crime 🤔 who voted to let pedophiles and murderers out of jail🤔 who TF made it a law that physical discipline on a kid who definitely needs their ass beat in punishable with jail and the stigma of being a child abuser🤔 think about color of all the people in power that have propagated laws that promote lawlessness. let me guess ?
